I’ve been commissioned by around 50 schemes, primarily to evaluate National Lottery Community Fund projects. Many of my reports have supported successful funding bids. I’ve worked with Home-Start in national and regional roles. I’ve merged schemes, reviewed strengths & developed strategy.
Amnesty’s School Speakers programme is inspiring the next generation of human rights champions. I visited schools and activists in North Wales to hear about the impact of the programme first hand and produced a detailed case study to help Amnesty demonstrate its impact to their funder, The People’s Postcode Lottery.
Citizen’s Advice North & West Kent commissioned me to evaluate PATH, a partnership project supporting homeless people, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Citizen’s Advice Ipswich, in partnership with Suffolk Law Centre, commisioned me to research and develop social prescribing in Suffolk.
Most recently, Community Action Suffolk commisioned me over a three-year period to evaluate their Good Neighbour scheme, which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Previously, I researched the impact of infrastructure organisations in Suffolk, which led to the merger of Community Action Suffolk.
As an Associate, I helped aspiring social entrepreneurs develop their business plans, delivered numerous workshops on social enterprise and wrote the UK’s first report on social enterprise exports, in partnership with British Council.
Led the merger of three local Volunteer Centres to form Kent Coastal Volunteering, which included supporting the lead Manager (now CEO) and working group in developing the case for support, vision and implementation.
Coached aspiring social entrepreneurs and delivered numerous workshops for SSE East. Researched and wrote case studies to support SSE Australia’s specialist programme supporting the introduction of National Disability Insurance Service, the Australian government’s personalisation initiative.
Researched feasibility of giving free legal advice in GP surgeries and developed outline model which was adopted as a pilot by CCGs. Commissioned by Suffolk Law Centre & Citizens Advice Ipswich, funded by Legal Education Foundation.
